Discover the playful side of typography in this hands-on workshop led by designer and educator Irma Puškarević. Participants will experiment with creating expressive letterforms using everyday materials like painter’s tape, colored cellophane, and found textures. Through guided exploration, you’ll learn how chance, materials, and process can shape unexpected visual outcomes–transforming simple letters into vibrant forms that blur the boundaries between drawing, sculpture, and photography. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity!
Irma Puškarević is a designer, educator, and researcher whose work investigates experimental typography, visual culture, and the intersections of material and digital design. She teaches Graphic Design at Wichita State University, where she fosters curiosity-driven making and critical exploration of form and meaning in design.
