Formed in Fire by Kim Ownbey Event Details :

In Formed in Fire, Andover lampwork glass artist Kim Ownbey transforms simple rods of glass into luminous, one-of-a-kind beads shaped by hand in the flame. Through precise control of heat, timing, and movement, she layers transparent and opaque colors to create depth and quiet complexity, capturing light within each form.
Ownbey pairs her handmade glass with thrifted, vintage, and antique elements, blending newly formed beads with materials that carry their own history. Presented in this library, her wearable art invites viewers to discover beauty, meaning, and connection preserved in glass.
