We would like to show your art! Make something with books at home and bring it to the library for us to display during the summer. Please register your project on our website due to our limited display space. Art projects are due at the library on June 15th. Please note this is not a class – this is an art display. If you’d like to see ideas, visit our Pinterest page here: https://www.pinterest.com/andoverl/crafting-with-books/

We invite young adults and up to join librarians at APL in a book-centered community art project. Pull out an old book and create a work of art through painting, folding, printmaking, etc. Share your love of books through art!

Since our display space is limited, registration is required (but free) via our website. All art is due on June 15th and will be on display at the library until the end of summer reading.

Examples of projects may include:

Book folding (by Jackie Wilkerson, APL Circulation Librarian)

BookNook (by Sara McEachern, APL Support Librarian)

In need of an old book for your project? We have limited supplies for registered participants.

Reservations are now closed.
